EARN MONEY FOR CAMP

Blue Ridge Sportsman's Club will be hosting a major Skeet Shooting Competition. This event will be attended by shooters from all over the country. The CD Rams Club has been given the opportunity to provide score keepers for the event. Should one of our players work the event, he has the ability to earn his ENTIRE camp payment for next year - THE ENTIRE PAYMENT!

You must attend one of the 2 training sessions in order to participate:

June 14^th at 10:00 am or June 23^rd at 7:00 pm

2008 FALL SPORT PHYSICAL SCHEDULE

Sports physical forms for the 2008-2009 school year are currently updated and posted, as indicated above. Please do not utilize any sports physical forms you may have as these will not be valid starting the 2008-2009 sports seasons.

ImPACT TESTING BEGINS MAY 2008:

Upcoming 9^th graders as well as those upcoming 10^th thru12^th graders planning to participate in the certain sports that have not undergone the ImPACT test in the last 2 years at their respective high school are required to take the ImPACT test prior to participating in the first practice. This is a computerized exam utilized to successfully diagnose and manage suspected head injuries (i.e. concussions). The test can only be taken at your respective high school.

CD RAMS FOOTBALL

Community Connections Program

Participating in the sport of football as a player or coach is truly a privilege. Football is a sport that attracts attention like no other and has the ability to capture the imagination of people of all ages and backgrounds. As a result, those that participate have the opportunity to experience something truly special and unique.

Updates and pictures from recent events our players have participated in are now available. So far this year our boys have volunteered 215 hours.

Keep checking back for updates on upcoming events and find out the latest on volunteer opportunities. We have identified the opportunities below with many others being researched by the Community Connections Committee.

Upcoming Opportunities:

Hot & Spicy International Festival – June 7^th- To participate download the form below and return to Coach McNamee no later than May 15^th

CDHS Alumni Association Picnic @ Cedar Grove Picnic Grounds from 10 am to 1 pm on June 21^st

Expect to see more information posted to the web-site on these events within the next few weeks. Forms will have to be completed for both the Adventure Zone Playground Build and the Hot & Spicy International Festival. The form for the Adventure Zone Playground will be posted to the web-site once it is available. These forms will also be available in the weight room.
