President Steve Straining called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

Minutes – Minutes of July 24, 2007, and August 29, 2007, were reviewed.  Motion by Pat Peters and seconded by Trish Stoltzfus to accept the minutes.

Budget

Treasurer’s report was reviewed.  Motion made by Doug Fisher and seconded by Kathy Harfman to accept Treasurer’s report as presented.  Rams outfit has vanished and the Rams Club is working with the Cheerleading Booster club to purchase a new one.

New Business

Jackets – Darlene Dickerson will be having fittings on September 27 outside the locker room.  The jackets will be made without the Varsity letter attached and when the player received his letter, it will be sewn on by the manufacturer.

Poster Orders  - Letter will be sent out to those players who did not sell posters.  Parents will be held to $50.00 buyout.  Concerns were made about selling the posters earlier in the summer because there was conflict with businesses already buying from the cheerleaders.

Buses for Altoona and Williamsport – There are 8 seats left on the Altoona bus.  It will leave the school parking lot promptly at 3:00 p.m. on October 5th.

PDP – 40% return of over 1000 letters.  Charges will be about 25% for administration fee.  Anyone making a donation of over $20 received a name badge for use at the express line at Varsity games.

Partnership – program deadline is up for advertisements.  Names of player winners to be listed on the website.

Meal proposal for home and away games for all teams– after some discussion, these guidelines will be added to website.

Banquet – The banquet is set for December 2, 2007 at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel on Lindle Road.  On Sunday, September 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fisher residence, there will be a banquet meeting for anyone interested in helping.

Membership – 35% of our total team are members.  In the future we will look to make a competition among the players for membership.  Also add information to Ram-A-Gram about benefits of membership.

Spirit Sales – Trish ordered more sweatshirts and hats.  She is going to prepare a “high value item” proposal (i.e. blankets, golf shirts) for next meeting.  Lisa Evans talked to the President of the Dauphin Jaguars football team and he offered for CD Football items to be sold at their games when they play at Landis Field.  Dauphin Jaguars are in the process of merging with the Linglestown Colts, but we will check the schedule for next season.

Rams night out dinner – Geo’s has offered to host a dinner out night, Steve will check on the percentage of sales.  Texas Roadhouse, Isaacs, and Hoss’s were mentioned as possible locations.  It was recommended that we do one a month and just go around town to a different location.

Subs – Maureen to get pricing from Bob’s Subway to provide subs to the boys.  Try to get R & K Subs as a partner.

Volunteers – if you cannot stay for the whole game due to picking up a player after practice, just sign up for set up or closing.
